O longa-metragem foi escolhido para representar o Brasil na disputa por uma vaga no Oscar do ano que vem como melhor filme internacional.<\/p>\n<p>O tema central do evento este ano \u00e9 \u201cHorizontes Latinos: N\u00f3s somos o Nosso Futuro?\u201d. A interroga\u00e7\u00e3o busca refletir sobre a for\u00e7a do cinema latino-americano como ponto de resist\u00eancia \u00e0s interfer\u00eancias externas sobre o continente.<\/p>\n<p>Entre os destaques, est\u00e1 o premiado \u201cMarte Um\u201d, longa de Gabriel Martins que retrata a vida de uma fam\u00edlia negra da periferia da Grande BH. O ator mineiro Carlos Francisco, que faz parte do elenco de \u201cMarte Um\u201d e tamb\u00e9m de \u201cO Agente Secreto\u201d, \u00e9 o grande homenageado do CineBH desta edi\u00e7\u00e3o, presente em oito filmes entre longas e curtas. A coordenadora do festival, Raquel Hallak fala sobre os eixos tem\u00e1ticos da mostra.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cA mostra traz 101 filmes em pr\u00e9-estreia nacional, internacional, organizado em v\u00e1rias sess\u00f5es tem\u00e1ticas. Temos a Mostra Territ\u00f3rio, que \u00e9 a mostra competitiva do evento, que valoriza novos cineastas; a Mostra Conex\u00f5es, que prop\u00f5e di\u00e1logos criativos entre diferentes filmes e pa\u00edses da Am\u00e9rica Latina\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A mostra traz ainda filmes em pr\u00e9-estreias aguardadas, como \u201cEnterre seus mortos\u201d, de Marco Dutra, adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do romance de Ana Paula Maia, e \u201cMorte e Vida Madalena\u201d, de Guto Parente.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro da programa\u00e7\u00e3o acontece tamb\u00e9m o \u201cBrasil CineMundi\u201d, evento que conecta profissionais do audiovisual brasileiro e de outros pa\u00edses.
